• Uchisar Panorama
  
  Uchisar is a primitive village located 4 km east of Goreme. It is famous for the huge rock formation that was once used as a fortification. This extraordinary rock is the highest peak in the region and offers magnificent panoramic views of Cappadocia. Most of the rooms in the castle are connected to each other by stairs, tunnels and passages. Many rooms have millstone doors at their entrances, which are used to control access to these spaces, just like in underground settlements. Unfortunately, it is not possible to reach all rooms due to erosion. Most of the rooms on the north side of the castle are still used as dovecotes today. Farmers used these pigeon houses to collect pigeon droppings, which is an excellent natural fertilizer for gardens and vineyards. A secret tunnel was recently discovered leading to the riverbed 100 m below the fort, carved to provide water supply in case of siege.
• Love Valley

The ceramic trade and numerous pottery factories in this district date back to the Hittites, and ceramic clay obtained from the red silt of Kizilirmak is used in production.
