• In the morning, our teammates from the balloon company pick up the guests from the hotel. Estimated pick up time is between 04:00 and 05:00. After being picked up from the hotel, we will set out for the balloon company to have breakfast. Waking up early is the right decision to immerse yourself in the mystical atmosphere of Cappadocia. In the early hours of the morning, as the sky is just starting to light up, the balloons begin to prepare. Safety instructions are given and passengers complete their preparations. Then, with the excitement of the moment the balloon takes off, you slowly rise towards the sky.
• As the balloon rises silently, you will be enchanted by the breathtaking views of Cappadocia. Cappadocia's unique fairy chimneys, volcanic cones and tuff rocks create a magical atmosphere with the golden sunrise. Watching famous places such as Pigeon Valley and Uchisar Castle from above gives a completely different perspective and feels like a fairytale dream.
• Cappadocia balloon tour also offers a visual feast with beautiful images created by colorful balloons coming together. They are like colorful giants dancing in the sky. These images create unique memories for photography enthusiasts and nature lovers.
• After your 1-hour flight, participation in the champagne and soft drink party prepared for the guests is provided. The pilots prepare the flight certificates written on their names and distribute them to the guests. After the distribution of the certificates, we set out to return to the hotels.

• How can I pay for the tour?
• In order to make online payment on our website, you must complete the reservation form specific to each tour after you reach the tour you want to book via the homepage and main menu. Then, every tour and activity you choose will be saved in the basket, just like you do online shopping. After checking your information in the cart, click on deposit or full payment, your bank's page will be opened for a secure payment and you will complete the payment.You can pay the remaining balance in the deposit payments at our office by contacting us after you have settled in your hotel, in cash or by credit card.
• What if your flight is canceled due to bad weather conditions?
• If your balloon flight is canceled due to weather conditions, you will be refunded for your canceled flight. Alternatively, we can reschedule your canceled flight for the next day based on availability. Although we can offer an alternative flight option for the next day to our unlucky customers whose flights are canceled during the off-season, this may not be possible during peak seasons.
• Will I be charged any fees if I cancel my flight for personal reasons?
• Depending on your flight date, different cancellation fees may apply to you. In case of optional cancellation less than 3 days before the flight date, you will be charged 100% of the canceled reservation amount. To qualify for a full refund, submit your cancellation request with your booking details at least 7 days before your flight date reservation@darmatravel.com or to our whatsapp number.
• Is there passenger insurance on hot air balloons?
• Hot air balloon operators in Turkey are required to insure their passengers in accordance with Turkish Civil Aviation Laws. All balloon companies offer travel insurance worth at least €30,000 for each passenger.
• Can pregnant women fly in a hot air balloon?
• Although there is no legal restriction for pregnant women to fly with a balloon, we do not recommend flights to our passengers who have completed their 6th week of pregnancy due to the additional security policy we have taken.
• When are the Cappadocia balloon tours?
• Cappadocia balloon tours are generally held every season of the year. However, the most ideal times are spring (April - May) and autumn (September - October). During these periods, the weather conditions are more stable and the winds are calmer, which provides a safe and enjoyable experience. While balloon tours are organized during the winter months, it may be more variable depending on the winter conditions.
• How long does the balloon tour take?
• The duration of the balloon tour may vary depending on weather conditions and wind direction, but usually lasts between 1 hour and 1 hour and 30 minutes. This time covers the total tour time along with the time the balloon will stay in the air.
• How should I dress for a balloon tour?
• Note that the weather can be cool on balloon tours. Comfortable clothes should be preferred and should be dressed at the appropriate temperature for the season. Also, shoes should be comfortable and it is helpful to dress in layers.
• How many people are on the balloon tour?
• Cappadocia balloon tours can have groups ranging from 10 to 32 people, depending on the size of the balloon. Group size may vary depending on the capacity of the balloon used and the tour selected.
